Sorry, we are not open on weekends, but we are open from 7:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. Our estimating hours are from 8-5 Monday through Friday.

Where are you located?
Lehman’s Garage has six locations, all offering auto body and glass repair. Four of these locations also offer Service & Maintenance (Bloomington, Chaska, Eagan and South Minneapolis) and two locations offer only Body Repair (Downtown Minneapolis and Savage).

Who should I call to tow my car?  Do you have towing?
Lehman’s Garage does not offer towing services, but we work closely with Mark’s Towing and Choice Plus Towing. We know you will be satisfied with either of them.  Click here for their numbers.

What happens when my vehicle is towed in?
Once your vehicle arrives, we wait for insurance or customer approval before beginning the repair process.

Do you work on all cars?
Yes, we work on all makes and models.

Can my insurance company tell me where to take my vehicle?
No, Minnesota State Law says that an insurance company cannot tell you where you can and cannot get your vehicle fixed. You have the legal right to have your vehicle fixed at the shop of your choice.

Do I need more than one estimate?
NO! You are only legally required to get one estimate. Just tell the insurance company involved that you are having your repairs done at Lehman’s Garage and to call us if they have any questions. We work with all insurance companies.

Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
No appointment is necessary for an estimate. Just stop in to any of our six locations and an estimator will assess your vehicle. 

How long does an estimate take?
On average, an estimate takes between 15-20 minutes. The actual time is dependent upon the extent of damage to your vehicle.

What are your pickup and delivery methods?
If your vehicle is drivable, we can arrange to pick it up at your home or office. When the work is complete, we can also drop it off for you.

If you would like to pick up your vehicle after hours, after 5:30 pm or before 7:30 am, call us to make an arrangement. If you would like to drop off your vehicle after hours, we have an after hour drop box available.

Can I get a ride to work?
Yes. We would be happy to give you a ride home or to work. We only ask that you let us know you would like a ride when you schedule your appointment so we can ensure that we have a driver readily available for you.

Do you have loaner vehicles?
If you need a vehicle for the duration of the repair, we can help you arrange a rental vehicle.

Where can I get a rental vehicle?
We work with Choice Auto Rental and can make the necessary arrangements for you. As an added convenience, when you drop off your vehicle at Lehman’s for repair, Choice will meet you with your rental.

Please be aware that insurance companies will only pay for a rental vehicle if you have that option on your policy.

Can I get other work done on my vehicle while it is
in the body shop?

Yes. Lehman’s Garage is a full service automotive center that not only offers body repair, but also service & maintenance and glass repair. Just let your estimator or CSR know what other work you would like done and he or she would be happy to make the necessary arrangements for you.

How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?
Many factors affect the length of time it takes to repair your vehicle such as the extent of damage, parts availability, insurance approval, and hidden damage. Your estimator will give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs on your vehicle.

How will I know when my vehicle is complete?
When your vehicle is done and ready to be picked up, we will notify you. You can also check the status of your vehicle with your vehicle ID# given when you dropped it off. If you have any questions or concerns during the repair process, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail your estimator.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express).

Who do I pay my deductible to?
The amount of deductible that you are responsible for is determined by your insurance company. If your deductible has not been waived, it is your responsibility to pay Lehman’s Garage when you pick up your vehicle.

What is your warranty?
Lehman’s Garage offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on our auto body repair labor. All parts are under the manufacturers warranty. Please see our Auto Body Repair Lifetime Warranty page for the full details.
